Welcome to

Southwestern Ohio HFMA

Welcome to the Southwestern Ohio Chapter of the Healthcare Financial Management Association. This site is provided as a resource for members and non-members alike to learn about our chapter, local educational opportunities and other resources available to healthcare professionals.

Thank you for your leadership and dedication to HMFA to all our Region 6 friends who supported our Regions membership.  A special Thank you to our Regional Executive, Justin Williams, who has carried us through this year.

HFMA National has an entire homepage dedicated to COVID-19 which covers topics like “What employees need from their leaders during the coronavirus crisis”,CMS’s latest guidance for healthcare organizations on the new coronavirus”, and “Healthcare associations band together to offer coronavirus resources”.

Additionally, National has improved Community function on their website which has been an absolutely wonderful resource for many HFMA members during this time. Think of it as a Virtual Chapter where Providers and Business Partners from across the nation are asking important questions, finding real time solutions, and sharing vital resources during this time. Sample topics currently being discussed include:

  • How are other Emergency Rooms handling telemedicine?
  • COVID-19 compensation for employees
  • Coronavirus and your rev cycle policies and practices
  • Telehealth policies and strategies
  • How is the Pandemic affecting your Organization’s Operations
